Retrograde Events was founded, officially, over 10 years ago out of a desire to see people happy. We enjoy seeing people escaping their everyday lives if for just a few hours. It is our desire to create an immersive atmosphere that makes your event special. We are only as good as our last event and we take each and every event seriously. We are like a mullet - serious in the front and party in the back. We take time prior to the event to prepare. We spend as much time with the client prior to the event in order to fully understand what they expect. We also discuss potential problems with the execution of some of their plans and offer alternatives. Once we have a plan in place we verify all equipment is in working order and purchase additional equipment when needed. We believe in redundancy, that is we bring a replacement piece of equipment for every piece we plan on using. If any piece of equipment we have another one waiting in the wings to take over. The day of your event we show up early to set up and test equipment. We are like the Marines - first in and last out. Any DJ can show up and perform well 95% of the time, but it is the 5% of the time when there is equipment failure or some other problem that a truly good DJ shines. Like the Boy Scouts we are always prepared. We are always upgrading our equipment to further enhance your experience.
